New chapters, but not as they apply to a novel

So, I got me some downsizing on February 27th.

Yep...the powers that be 'n 'nat at my former employer decided that I had served my purpose/run my course.
I guess, that in attempt to be 'green' , they're recycling me.

It wasn't unexpected at all, let me say that much.
I paid attention to those little voices in my head, my own little virtual herd of forest creatures that run when they sense doom. They were right on the money this time...no pun intended.

I was given a nice severance (emphasis on 'sever') package, and was let go in time to have lunch.
I can't seem to be depressed or upset, no matter how hard I try.
My closets are getting cleaned out, and I'm spending alot of time taking care of things I didn't have time for previously.

My attitude is that the harder you fall, the higher you bounce.

I will take advantage of this time to relax, refocus, and re-energize.
And blog.
And bounce. :)
